So before visiting the Old town of Colle di Val d’Elsa we will go to a historical crystal factory, where we can see the different steps of the production: bowling, modelling and finishing. Thanks to this old art the glass masters can create wonderful masterpieces in crystal, that we can see in the big showroom where you can also buy beautiful souvenirs.
After lunch we move to the Old town of Colle di Val d’Elsa, a picturesque hilly town founded by Etruscans, unfairly cut off the turist trails, even if it is so close to San Gimignano.
We will walk along the main street of the old town, we will stop fo taking pictures in the most beautiful spots, we will find few old towers, also that one where Arnolfo di Cambio was born, the famous architect of the Duomo of Florence, but we will see also Reinassance buildings, like the New Gate, the Duomo and Campana Palace.
